I have loved art since I was a child and fell in love with drawing at a young age. I studied printmaking at the University of Oklahoma and then switched to Visual Communications. I have been working as a graphic designer since 2014 and went out on my own in 2017. In 2018 I got to a chance to open a restaurant (the Kitchen at Commonplace Books). It is something my wife and I have dreamed about for a while and has been a way to extend hospitality to others. I took a short break from Graphic Design to get it off the ground and am happy to be designing, illustrating and photographing again (mostly full time).
